What are Career Pathways?
A person can continue to build upon their skills and education throughout their career. Each of the career pathways lists occupations at different education and training levels. Now occupations typically require short-term on-the-job training. Next occupations require training beyond a high school diploma, such as a certificate, associate’s degree, apprenticeship, or moderate- to long-term training. Later occupations typically require a bachelor’s degree or beyond. Find your current occupation and see where the next steps of education and training can lead.
