The Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics (OEWS) program is a Federal-State cooperative effort that produces employment and wage estimates for over 800 occupations. In Missouri, the program is operated by the Missouri Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development (DHEWD)/Missouri Economic Research and Information Center (MERIC) in cooperation with the U.S Department of Labor/Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).
